New T-stat=high temps?
I just replaced the stock t-stat seeing as it sucked the rubber portion in and stayed stuck open, resulting in dropped temps below 140. But when I replaced it with a new one, I drove 5 miles today the temp was about 210, I've never had the truck that warm before, is it typical?
Thanks for any input.
Tim.

It sounds a little warm. Was it a cummins t-stat?
When I put a auto part store one in (stant i think), my truck would get real hot and then come down to real cold. I would lose my heat when on the highway.
It is worth it to get a Cummins stat.
They arent cheap, I think it was $35.
