Well I will tell you how I did it, I did the power steering first, took off the return line stuck it in a catch all, sucked out all that I could with a turkey baster, filled up with synthetic had help to start and kept full until clean synthetic came thru the return. As this was going on I had the front end up and the help turning the steering wheel. Rear end was next, took off plate drained and wiped all I could reach, jacked up one side at a time and let drain and wiped some more. Have not done the trans. as I am wanting to get new trans soon. But I have came to the conclusion with the help of some trans. techs that you do not want to flush the trans. with one of the flushing machines if the trans has alot of miles on it as it can push sludge and contaminates into the valve body. So as far as changing out the trans, I would have to pull it out and tap the torque converter to drain it all out and go from there,or spend some bucks on a large amount of synthetic trans fluid, take the lines loose at the radiator and change it all out by transfusion. I made the decision not to do my oil as I am of the opinion that the good ole dino oil will suit me fine as I like to change it out more often than some do with their synthetic. Goodluck Rick

I changed all my fluids over to Amsoil and the only thing I would add to the above post is that I would recommend purchasing the differential cover RTV from Dodge. It seals very well and it can get awfully expensive to take 3-4 quarts of synthetic that you just put in and dump it out because of a small leak. I did power steering as above, trans with a complete fluid change machine (50K miles), both diffs as above, transfer case, and engine.

it may have to wait till spring I am not interested in laying on the cold wet ground. which is kinda ironic b/c winter (1st one in NY) is the reason I decided to switch. THanks for the input though
