Best Oil Filter for Synthetics
There is a web site where a guy was taking measurement of oil filters and rating them. If you want to listen or read...
Oil Filter Study
I will use either Mopar or Fleetguard filters at this time for warranty purpose...
I hope this helps... just my 2 Cents worth...

Best filter for CTD...any oil... is the Fleetguard Stratapore! You can do a search on any of the Dodge Web Sites and read all night. Concensus is overwhelming from those who have gone before!
Only alternative, if going for max duration oil changes, is a by-pass system. Hard to justify cost, IMO, unless driving over 75,000 miles a yr.
02 CTD takes Fleetguard part # LF3894...$8.95 from Geno's. I go 10,000 miles on same filter w/ Amsoil Diesel/Marine 15w-40...Oil Analysis comes back excellent every time.
