Surging At 1250-1400 rpm In Over Drive
On the way home i was getting surging around 1250-1400 rpm. Any one seen this problem? Works fine in all gears except for that rpm in over drive (4th)

In lockup at that speed it is luging the engine of sorts. Just a little more throttle and unit downshifts and problem is gone.

Found an interesting fix for the tranmission torque converter engage/dis-engage issue that seems to be very common. Many fixes evolve around grounding and EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference).
I found this interesting information while digging for solutions! I thought I would pass this along.
Suncoast makes excellent high performance torque converters for Diesel trucks. See the attached symptom/solution link (APPS Rewire Ground Instructions)

Note: I copied this from a post I posted several months ago. I performed this direct ground to the APPS and I have had zero problems since.
