Stumbles when free reving
Stumbles when free reving
I have a 2000 Dodge Cummins with the quadzilla adrenaline. When I am in stock tune it revs fine and normal as soon as I put it in any quadzilla tune it stumbles when free reving at low rpm but once it revs higher it clears up. When it stumbles it blows grey smoke. Fuel pressure doesn't drop below 13psi. Any help would be appreciated
I think the 24Vs really want no less than 20 PSI fuel pressure at all times. As soon as I put a programmer on my old 24V I NEEDED a higher powered lift pump.
Does it stumble when you are driving the truck? Or is this only an issue when revving it up in your driveway?

Not sure I would worry about it then.
I would keep an eye on the fuel pressure. Is the 13 PSI when you are free revving it? Or is that at WOT in the highest gear when on the road?
Killing a VP44 due to low FP is a very common thing people do.
