Im trying to replace the valve springs on my 98.5 24v. The original springs have a light green stripe and a 1.87" free length. I looked all over online and the current part number that i thought was correct is superseded to 5303406. They have a purple stripe and 1.80 free length. Any of the heavier springs are listed as the same from 98.5-22 so I assumed they are all the same. Is this spring ok to use with the slightly lower height? The motor does have a bigger cam in it-i don't have the specs on it, but the original springs have been working fine, just have a lot of mileage and I wanted to stay with genuine springs. Max boost is about 28 lbs and I never go over 2700 rpm.
