Sticking Throttle...

It has been pretty cold around where I live recently with highs around 15*. My truck always sits outside and the past few days when I go to leave my throttle has been sticking. The armature on the pump will not return when you let off the throttle, and stays at the same position. I have just been lifting the hood before I start it each morning and working it free because it is really stiff. I did the same last night and it was fine for awhile until I drove down the highway for a little bit, but when I tried to turn off somewhere it stuck and I had to ride the brakes into a parking lot and shut it down. Anyone else ever encounter this problem?

I haven't had this in my Dodge but I did have the same problem in a car a number of years ago. In my case it turned out to be the cable. I would take the cable of the apps and see which one was actually sticking. If apps is still sticking after you remove cable then you know where the prob is - apps. If apps isn't sticking then it is the cable. Cable would be a cheap replacement, if it is the apps that is sticking then one of the more experienced folks than me will have to weigh in with cures.
