steering box, rebuild or rerplace?

I agree, for the time and money it would take to rebuild your original, I think it would be much easier to replace it with one of PSC's. Put a DSS on it, and you should be set for the life of your truck.
I had someone rebuild mine and it was no better after I payed 150$ for it. I then went to the wreckers and got one that was still no good. The bushings on the output shaft are weak. I don't know if the rebuild kits don't come with them or I had a crappy job done? If you can't do it yourself buy a new one. I am going to machine a new bushing out of bronze and try it since I have a spare now.
