Starter dragging and O/D off when starts.

Here lately my truck has been dragging to start. I dont normally plug my truck in unless it gets really cold. It hasnt hesitated to start at these temps before. The last few times its wanted to drag before it starts the O/D light is on in the dash when it cranks. It goes off when I push the button, I was just curious about why it would do that.

When was the last time you replaced your batteries or cleaned the connections?

Batteries are original to the truck. Ill check the connections. It only seems to do it after it has sat all night when it is cool out.

What year is your truck? In this section that means that they are at least 7 years old. It's time for some new ones. I highly suggest some optimas. They don't corrode. Also if you fill in your signature it will help us to help you diagnose problems.
