I don't think there's a speed limiter per say, but a rev limiter which would eventually limit the top speed.

Shouldn't have a problem at the track.

I can do 105mph at 2500 rpms. I've had it up to 115 before. That was with 33's though and an uncorrected speedo. The 105 was with 35's and a corrected speedo.

I have no problems doin 110mph (4.10gears & 285/75/16 tires). After that can't keep eyes off of road long enough to check speedo & tach but certainly running out of RPMs, speedo corrected at dealer.

I had mine up too 200 km/h(Approx 120 mph) but the freakin cars were wizzing by so i backed out of it..

I really dont think there is a speed limiter on the diesels, if there was it would kick in at 95 mph..

I believe governed engine speed is the only "speed limiter"

At least I haven't found any other

My 02 would start to defuel at 109. You could see it on the EGT's. After installing the RAD the EGT's no longer start to drop at 109. I'm not sure what years do this though...

Hmmm, but is that due to speed or RPM??? What engine RPM would you be turning at 109?

Smile speed

i can go 113, i think if i had an edge drag box instead of a comp i could go more. but 113 is too fast for traveling.....75 or 80 is just right on the interstate

The truck does have a speed limiter. Some are programed different than others but usually it is 115 mph, some are as low as 95 mph. You can use a BD RAD to have unlimited speed up to the rpm govenor or you can cut the speed limiter wire itself. Caution though if you cut the speed limiter wire your grid heaters do not operate correctly (they will cylce a lot more).

For really high topend use a BD RAD and a Blue Chip Redline box and spin it to 4000 rpm
