need to get rid of speed limiter
Leon441, you need a BD RAD top speed limit eliminator. On 2003 and 2004 it also disables torque management which protects your stock driveline from bombing. The good advice is to use it only when you need it, like whooping a ferd, or d lax. ks
A 250hp downloader(crasy larry) should get rid of that limiter. I have a friend that runs 12.8? and he is faster than 103 with his downloader. I would also recommend and HTS tranny to get that power to the ground.

The BD RAD works great!Another good thing about it is it will also change the calabration for tire size on the 04 1/2 and 05!And no the crazy larry does not get rid of the speed limiter.

drew03-the power pup on my 03 (non CLDL obviously) has changed the defueling from stock. It pulls hard up to 3500 RPM. I think it defuels around 3500 RPM but I don't have the guts to stay in it longer.

The truck is an 04 2500. It has dual 4inch exhast, intake, the 250 downloader and a fuel box from bullydog. He also has a lockup switch. His name is bruce and his truck can be seen at www.htstransmissions.com. Just to let you know his truck ran in the 12s on Sept 16th after it was posted on the site. His injectors and turbo is stock. His tranny is loaded
The locker is an adjustable box that you can set the speed at which your torque converter goes into lockup. If you lock the truck up under 25 mph you will blow all of your shafts in your tranny, even if they are bullet. Speaking from experience.
Thanks to those who replied. I had heard about the RAD but was hoping there was something else that would allow me to read my correct speed up to 120 which is on the OEM speedometer. My truck pulls hard to 106 actually showing 108 on OEM speedometer but I'm told it is actually 106 where they shut it down. Wifes Durango will run 125 and I have a 97 Intrepid Ex police car that does not shut at all. The race car will run faster than any road around hear can handle top end so I am just looking for options on Dually for right now. Theres no such thing as a car too fast as the song goes so I continue to pursue this issue.
