Sounds Cool!
My truck received a radical mufflerectomy this weekend and I must say it sounds much better than I expected.

During acceleration, it has a good tone with more of the turbo whine being audible. It seems to have a bit of a drone between 2250 and 2375 rpms, but it only affects me when going through the gears or going 80-85 down the highway (which I would never do
). While cruising, it doesn't seem to be that much louder in the cab than it was before. I had an '85 Chevy 454 with 24" glass packs that was much louder in the cab than my CTD is.

I don't have guages installed yet, so I can't comment on any EGT reductions or performance improvement, but I would think there would be some with the elimination of the restrictions of the muffler and the resonator.

All in all, I am very pleased with the results!
