some vacation

Went camping in Delaware @ the beach for a week from Pennsylvania. Truck pulled and ran fine. Got to the camp site and that's when the "fun" started. went to put the slideout out went halfway and stopped. Some testing show the motor died. luckily my inlaws were there too and had a drill and a screwdriver tip. crisis averted. Everything set up and decided to shower and get the oil dirt and sand off me, no problem. Then went to go grab some things at the store. The truck decided it was not going to start so ended up skipping the store to checkout the truck. fuel in filter , lift pump appeared to run but no discharge a injector. That was friday around dark so thought I'd sleep on it. Went to the park office to use the phone book Saturday AM. 6 phone call before someone would work on it, however they couldn't tow it. 7 phone calls before found someone to tow it. You would think it was a big rig not a 3500 series. Well the garage assured me by Monday it would be fixed. Monday comes they call hey we can't fix it but the nearest place that will is a dodge dealer about 40 minutes north. Well what choice do I have north it went. We were leaving Friday AM but was told no problem it would be ready Thursday PM. Thursday pm came no call so I called them ,Oh service they left for the day..Well I did get the truck back @ 11:30 Friday. Tow home went fine dropped the trailer of @ storage that night. Truck sits till yesterday, It won't start. Called the Dealer that fixed it says take it to you local dodge dealer everything they did is covered for 1year or 12,000. I got my friend from the local garage to scan it. No codes present cranked it for a bit. He turned the key to look at the crank sensor I think and it started. trouble shooting in his scanner says return line to tank my be leaking and letting air to system. I will be checking it today. I should have just took the wife and kids on a cruise!! $150towing 1st time + $65. garage that couldn't fix it + $275. towing 2nd time + $3422. Repair at dealer + just remembered this my $50. deductable to replace the cracked windsheid on the wifes car comming home = Priceless Can't wait to go again!!!

Oh, it seems my luck has found somebody else! When we towed my truck in the rain it pushed the F-450 wrecker into the intersection at a red light and fortunately we didn't hit anybody. These Rams are HEAVY. I could use a cruise right now!
