Sick of 2000 2500

I am sick of my 2000 2500 truck. After 6 lift pumps, last 2 after Vulcan relocate to the front of tank. I put the Fass System on it and for the time being it is running fine. Also 2 injection pumps. I am going to replace it with a 12 valve as soon as I find one that is decent.

Just mad and ranting.

It's crazy how some guys drive these trucks 200k and more with no pump problems, and some have troubles out the yen-yang. Some say that there are thousands out the with no problems, but I think around 100k (maybe alittle over) on a vp would be around avarge. JMO

I guess I have been spoiled by our other trucks. I wonder if the cab off the 2000 would fit on our 93? I bought the 93, 3500 new C/C. It has 400,000 plus miles on it. Engine and running gear still in exellent shape, cab is awfull. If you slam the drivers door the passenger door will open.

How many miles did you get on those 2 IP. I got one coming in the mail for 1100. I got 83k on original 02 dodge. I am hoping this upgraded one will go 100k.

My pump went out in the 80k mile range also. After that I left my pump alone and didn't tap the wire. She's been nice thus far and I don't want to buy a pump.
