i was just wondering what u guys are talking about when you say you have no s-ring. what is that???

 

It's called a "silencer ring" and the part is located on the inlet side of the turbo housing and held in place with a snap ring. It's purpose is to silence the turbo whistle. If you'd like more whistle remove it by poping out the snap ring and it should pull out. Install an aftermarket air intake and it'll sound like a Harrier (sp?) jet when you take off.
