Picked up an S&B cold air intake for my 2001. I went to install it and found none of the mounting holes would line up with the studs on the fenderwell. A quick call to S&B got me connected with a man named John. He was very helpful. Through him I discovered Dodge used a slightly different airbox mounting pattern on about 1 out of 50 trucks. He seemed to think it was ones that were built in Canada. (I don't know if he meant the whole truck or the airbox. My airbox had "Made in Canada" cast into it.) Additionally, the nuts supplied with the kit were 1/4-20, and the studs on my truck are metric.

Anyway, he was real helpful and promised to have me the proper airbox and hardware by the end of the week. It's great to have good customer support!

So if anyone else encounters this problem, give them a call before you start modifying the holes, as I was about to do.
