I have my fass running thru the stock filter unit/wanted to keep the fuel heater..... After the filter canister there is a hard line, joined to another hard line that goes to the VP and there is a piece of what looks like 3/8 rubber hose that joins them..... Is this hose anything special, mines cracked and starting to weep, at the ******* they want 50 bucks for about 3 inches of hose...... It shouldn't be steel braided i wouldnt think, nor anyhing fancy.......

Anybody have an idea about that???

 

That rubber hose is basically used as a snubber to lessen the pulsations from the VP.

It's just your standard 3/8's fuel line, go ahead and replace it.
