Rpm
I am curious as to How Many RPM you guys are spinning the CTD with your twin turbo's and all your Mods?
I have a commerical engine that had a Redline of 2500 RPM in the BUS it was in. Just wondering if Going to 3300RPM Redline on My tach is going to hurt the engine.
AND What is the max RPM the CTD will take?

The commercial engines and the Dodge engines have the same bottom end.
Cummins engineers have said that the engine can be operated all day up to 3200rpm.
They said it won't even start to come apart at 4K.
The pullers running 5K rpm and such have beefed up their engines.
The main reason for the low RPM on the commercial engines is the cam-- it's optimized for lower RPM.

Your fine as long as you keep it under 3600.I have been running my twinned truck up to the limit(3500) or so since i bought it,its never done a thing to it.Once you get the valvetrain mods on a 24V,you can do the blue chip rev box,and go to 4075RPM.
