Which Rotors

Do I need drilled and slotted rotors or can I use a good stock replacement. The ones on now are warped and need to be replaced. I only tow in the 7000 lbs, in the summer, camping. Thanks for any help.

get plain old regular rotors, but dont skimp on the pads, cheap pads in my experience are junk, I found the best braking with bendix commercial/taxi pads they lasted well and stopped 5 times better than the OEM

Not all rotors are the same for are trucks brembo and hawk pads seem to make a great combo . I just installed a new set on a friends truck, and he told me when he went to napa they had rotors from $40- all the way up to $286 .

dont get any crap from CHINA

most of the rotors I've found even the boxed stuff made by brand names is made in china, The last set I had were made in china I went thru 1/2 a dozen or more pads and the only reason I did not re-use them was I could not afford the down time, it was faster to replace them, than wait to have them turned. only reason not to buy the china rotors would be political, not because of quality(well at least the ones I had were good)
you can say what you want about hawk pads (I cant compare the brembo rotors as I have no experience with them) I've used them and they are not quite as good as the raybestos pads and not even close to the bendix pads. I have tested these brakes under pretty extreme conditions, and I eat thru them pretty fast, I've since done the 3rd gen big brake mod and have twice the stopping power that I had, here is a link to my findings, my response is post #11,
