replacing ball joints
Not very hard if you are well prepared. The factory ball joints are held to the control arms with rivets which are impossible to get out without the use of a grinder, air chisel, a big hammer, center punch, and some cold beverages. The new ones go in fairly easy being that bolts are used as replacement for the rivets. Took me about 5 hours with the tools described.
Nothing too big of one... A good trick is to loosen the ball joint nut until it is just flush with the end of the threaded stud and give it a few good whacks with a hammer. Most times after a few whacks, it will let go...what model is it? Is it 2wd or 4wd?
