03 Replacing Ball and Axle joints!

I have my passenger side tore apart on my 03 and I cannot remove the hub assembly. Does the entire axle shaft have to come out on these AAM's or what. I have every bolt out of this thing and it just wont budge. Do I need to pull the diff cover and remove some sort of retainer or what? Thanks

You need to push it out form the backside. Put the four bolys back in almost all the way then using a extension between boly abd axle housing use power steering to press bolts pushing bearing assemnly out do one bolt at a time rotating around and backing the bolts out a little more and doing it again till you can remove

What options do I have for manual locking hubs to put in this big piece of $h!t. I am begining to hate this truck! Is there a servicable bearing for these things that doesn't rust solid like these?

I used alot of pb blaster and had to really crank on it. As far as free spin hubs there is dynatrac ems and a third one I saw the other day cant remember the name maybe someone else will chime in. i would go for one with the studs already pressed into the hubs.
