Rebuilding a 47RE

I am planning on rebuilding my 47re in a 2002 2500. I have already purchased a BD diesel valve body. I am looking at a bunch of convertors. My questions are I want a transmission to holdup to a superchip on towsafe and 100hp sticks while pulling 15k-17k, and also hold up to the high performance setting with no trailer. So who make the best rebuild/shift kits and the best single disk billet convertor?
Thanks

Shift kits are for building your valve body, so you won't need that with a built vb from BD. If your transmission is not hurt you can install the bd valvebody and a good single or triple. There are many flavors of torque converters on the market, stick with one that has a good rep. Having a dealer near where you live will make any warranty issues less painless.

When I had mine done I was shown an interesting thing about some of these transmissions. On some models they had spiral cut output shafts. They make the tranny quieter but with the diesel torque they end up putting excessive force on the thrust bearings and cracking out the case. Lucky but mine was straight cut.
Check to see which gearing layout you have.
