Rear end ratio question

I'm looking to buy a used 2nd Gen Ram. When I'm looking over a possible candidate, how can I tell what the rear axle ratio is?

On earlier 2nd gens (12v) it is on the underneath side of the hood, on later 2nd gens (24v) it will be on a sticker in the glovebox. Good Luck

You can always jack up the rear and turn the driveshaft by hand. Count the turns of the driveshaft in one revolution of the wheels. 3 1/2 turns is 3.54
3 3/4 turns is 3.73 and 4 turns is 4.10
