Angry RATTLING Isspro fuel pressure guage

I have a real annoying rattle coming from my fuel pressure guage. The needle has a tendency of bouncucing a bit as well. I just can't take the rattling anymore. I have been looking at getting a new guage. Can I just buy the guage itself or do I need to buy the whole kit?

If you will put a "Fuel Pressure Snubber" in the system that should take care of the problem. I had the same problem on mine and the snubber took care of the problem. I had to put mine right before the actual sensor. Here is a part number on one that "Auto Meter" makes if you are interested:

"Auto Meter Fuel Pressure Snubber-Part Number: #3279"

You should be able to get this through Jegs or Summit.

Another thing to try, which basically does the same thing as the snubber, is an 1/8" needle valve. Install it inline and just barely crack it open until pressure shows on the guage.

Good point OldDodgeOwner!

Let me add that those 1/8"needle valves can be found at "Lowes, Home Depot or any Ace Hardware" Stores. They are in the plumbing areas.
