also should i buy some type of flushing solution like super flush by prestone?

i don't see why tap water would hurt anything it would be cleaner than anything else so i say go for it. as far as the flush goes i used it, i'm not sure if it did anything but i bought two bottles and did it right so i wouldn't have to do it again. You might want to look into a bottle of water pump lube i use it in my tractors and also put a bottle into my radiator fluid on the truck you can pick it up at most any auto store.
