Call the guys at industrial injection, thus far they have been able to easily beat the price of anyone on this side of the border, even after exchange and tax. They also know their stuff.

Piers Diesel Reasearch is in BC (Surrey IIRC), and I hav dealt with them, and I was quite satisfied with their prices and customer service. NADP is out of Edmonton. Haven't dealt with them personally, but they seem well respected. Piers has all their prices available for viewing on the web.

Here's the link - http://www.piersdiesel.com/DodgeCanPrice.htm - if I am reading it correct, looks like $1812 for a new (not reman) VP44. But you may want to give them a call. They have a toll free #.

NADP does not list prices online, but they also have a toll free #. Here is their website: http://www.nadp.ca/contactus.html

Good luck.

You can get an IP out of states for less than what PDR wants for one. You could get a HRVP for the price PDR is asking. With the dollar the way it is, going through the US isn't as bad as it used to be. Just make sure they don't use UPS to ship it to you!

At this point the percentages are not high enough to break the deal on auto parts, between the exhange and the associated costs. But like Tate says, do not let them use UPS to ship it, the broker costs will leave you with sore nads for a week.

Deisel Services Group (DSG) out of Saskatoon www.dieselservices.com is very good. They supply parts and pumps to Industrial Injection and also Barry @ NADP. Ask for Darwin....

There is no, repeat no duty on buying stuff out of the states, remember Free Trade, however you will pay GST and Brokerage costs.

GST is 7% of the value, Brokerage varies by shipper, UPS can charge up to 50 bucks on brokerage, Fed Ex about the same, USPS/Canada post about 10 bucks

I always ship whenever possible from the US by United States Postal Server/Canada Post, cheapest way to ship, however it can take more than a week.

If what you buy is made in the USA you are correct, if it is first imported to the US then to Canada, you will pay duties. In the case of Bosch injection pumps I have no idea where the country of origin may be.
