I have been looking at several 24v trucks to buy and have noticed that on some trucks I've looked at the coated part of turbo housing has a gold hue to it. Does this mean anything or am I in the clear? FYI - trucks are stock.

Some do that and others don't. I think there is a coating on there that either oxidizes over time, or turns brown from the heat.

It's not anything to worry about.
