Question ? oil plug metal shaving

The dealer has a new washer for that drain plug. Mine came apart and looked like shavings and crap but it was just a brass washer to seal the plug. 15 cent fix. Cheers

Korney: you have 320,000 km on a 2001 wow. Have you had many problems with your truck since you have it and is this for work or pleasure?

I will change my oil after 5000 km ( 3000miles) and report back.

Ya I bought it with 316k and now I have 321k with no problems so far. It came with all the service papers and it was serviced every 5 000 and it has had 2 injector pumps put in. It wandered on its own going down the road so the dealer put a new steering box in for me and that fixed it up. The same truck but in worse shape was sitting right beside this on when I went to check it out but it was 14 thousand bucks more because it had less km so took a chance on more kms but it also looked better. Seems to be alright so far.
