Question about torque & HP

I went to a dyno run on Saturday & had a great time...thanks guys. Here's my question, I ran a 185 HP & 315 ft lbs torque at the rear wheels from a stock auto. Is this what I should expect? I thought it would pull in the 220 range & 350 torque. Is this normal or might I have a problem ??? Thanks for you input.

Jerry

I did my first Dyno run Saturday as well

2002 4x4 auto transmission with 3.54 rear end.

I got a 205.6 HP, no torque due to no RPM hookup.

Totally stock engine and transmission.

Only changes I have done that would affect readings are my missing muffler (replaced with length of 3inch pipe, kept resonator and rest of stock exhaust) and my 34.75 inch tires.

Was told that I am doing very well for a stock truck, and that most other stockers have gotten around 170-180 hp.

I think you're right where you should be, maybe a little better

phox

Re:Question about torque & HP

Don't you loose about 20 % of Power & Torque going from the flywheel to the rear end? So those numbers would be good for being stock then.
