What does it mean when you turn the key to the "ON" position and the odometer readout says " NO BUS"? There is a long story that goes with this that I posted in the "Other" category so I won't post it again

 

It means that the instrument cluster has lost contact with the cummins data buss. In short you have a break in the circuit for the data buss and you need to track it down and fix it.

 

Thank you for the response. The dodge dealer broke it. They can fix it. It went in the shop mechanically perfect for fairly minor bodywork. Now 28 days later, they can't get it started and the "NO BUS" in the odometer readout is what the machanic is telling me. I don't think he has a clue either.
