Thanks Johnh,

Is it easy to get to if I need to change it in the future?

Its doable, but awkward. If its working fine, I would leave it.

The pump is in but...

I bought the pump from Midwest and installed it last weekend. I did a lot of stuff before putting the lines back in like deconverting it from the run only fuse wire that solved my hot start issue on the old pump.
I was putting the fuel filter back on and noticed that the rubber coated steel washer that seals the banjo bolt had a bigger ID than the original.
I measured the ID of the new washer and it was .25" bigger than the old one. It moved around alot on the shaft and I was not comfortable installing it.
I called Midwest, supposedly talked to a tech, and he said "its the same washer we have always sent with the pumps", I wonder if they really understood what I was talking about. This thing may seal or it may not. I do not want to find out the hard way and have to take it all apart again.
So, I am going ahead and ordering a FP gage kit from Genos and installing. I will also pick up some banjo seals while I am at it.

just ordered

An IssPro FP Gage and install kit and steering column mount.
I also ordered 6 Cummins washers for the banjo, that takes care of that!

Truck is Running

Hey Guys,

The truck is running but I have not driven it yet. I idled it for 15 minutes today. I am in the process of installing the fp gage kit.
Going to need Tires and an Exhaust before it is all done.

gage install

Gage install went well, I am putting out 17 psi from the FASS DDRP at idle.
I found out the hard way that my gas tank sending unit is bad. Messed with
the fuel system for some time before I realized that I did not have a 1/4 tank,
I was out of fuel!
