power steering pump
what type of fluid should i put in my power steering pump. i have a hydro boost system some people are telling me normal power steering fluid and some say atf+4 tranny fluid

FSM says to use PS fluid (only). I have synthetic in there because regular makes noise when cold. Some swear that you can use ATF. Perhaps that is true. Perhaps not.

I went to the JEEP dealer and paid LESS for the SAME fluid ($6.50 / qt.)... Go figure...

well i put synthetic atf and got the air out the lines and its running fine now thanks for all the help
