Power seat motor
I'm not sure where to post this...The motor that makes the drivers seat go up went out. The dealer says that all the motors are a single unit and cost $500.
Any one know a better way to fix this?

I have heard of guys having the motor rewound at a electric motor shop or even a quality electronics store. I got lucky and found a seat with power at a wrecker.
