power loss

ok so i have a 2001 dodge with a HO cummins and a six speed. i have a edge comp on it, intake and exhuast. recently my truck has just felt like it has no power. when ever i try to get on it and really hammer the throttle it seems like it takes forever to start picking up speed, and when i shift into the next gear it feels like the truck is just bogging down and sounds like its under a huge load. this is getting prgressivly worse. for expample ill be going along in 2 gear and floor it and it will kinda take its time grain rpm. theni shift into thrid and the truck slows way down again before the boost kicks in and it picks up speed again, but it takes forever to hit the boost. what could this be. i have good fuel pressure, and just put a new life pump in a few months back. i know this is a long thred but any help and suggestions wold help. thank you

Welcome to DTR. Check for codes, key on, off, on, off, then on, and watch your odometer. Sounds like you have a dieing Injector pump. 0216 will verify it.

thanks for the welcoming.... adn thats why i am think unfortunatly. and i have checked my codes just a 1693 which i belive is nothing to worry about. and if it is my injection pump. when i replace it should i go with a stadnard output pump? i hear that a SO pump combined with the comp box will give me more power than my HO pump

If you have a 1693, then theres another code there also that it's not telling you, (not uncommon) you will have to use a code reader, autozone will pull it for free(probable others also)
