i have a 98 24 cummins and i dont think the turbo is working when i take off it takes a long time to get full power know what is wrong. no mods but filter k&n engine has 152k will adjusting valves and adjusting pump timing help

 

If it were me i would be putting in fuel pressure, boost, and a pre turbo pyrometer. These will help you diagnose your problem. If you went to a shop thats the first thing they would do and charge you for along with reading the codes. With the lift pump failures you could be having one on its way out and that also can take out your vp44.
