Ok, so my 01HO has been losing power for about 4 months now. I lost a LP while coming back on a trip and had to run about 2 hours without it, I know I lost the LP cause I have a fuel pressure gauge and my fuel pressure dropped to around 3 or 4 psi from it steady 12 psi.

I immediately replaced the pump, changed the filter, and the truck fired right up, however since then I have been steadily losing power it seems. Hills I use to climb without problem I now slow down on and have to downshift.

My truck is only used for work, towing, it hauls farm equipment around, and our travel trailer and that is pretty much its job. I could use more towing power however I am not a speed demon and don't need huge power otherwise. There are no codes on the engine, Cleaned the IAT, and replaced the air filter as well, no difference, also no smoke at any time at all.

MY questions are;
- Do you think it is the VP?
- Could it be anything else?
- I have looked at a lot of pumps, Blue Chip, Industrial, NADP, which should I buy?
- Should I do other things to improve towing power?
- Air Intake ?
- Programmer/Chip?
- Injectors ?
- EGT ?

Is it possible you have created a air leak(very small) into the fuel delivery circuit? A pinched or restricted hose?
