Please, quick help on clutch install (pics)

I put my new Valair clutch (single disc) in tonight, put in the transmission (a heavy pain in the edit), put in transfer case and when I went to reinstall the clutch slave cylinder, it would not go in. It wont even go in far enough to catch a thread with the nuts. I made sure nobody pumped the clutch pedal while I had it out. Is there any chance something could be binding in there? Or do I need to bleed the hydraulics? If so, how do I do that? thanks a bunch, -Evan

Just did mine the other day. Seems normal the plunger is under pressure, I don't know if there is a spring in it, or if its just the hydralics. just push it in. Its a little stiff but you can do it.

Place the plunger on something hard and push with both hands - it should give...

Shouldn't be too terribly difficult... I could push mine in with one hand and thread the nuts on with the other pretty easily... even with the SBC hydraulics...
