Piston cooling nozzles - crankshaft bearings

When installing the new crank bearings I notice that the holes in the bearing don't line up exactly with the holes for the cooling nozzles. I actually noticed that the ones I took out don't line up that great either. Is this normal? Am I just getting paranoid about things or do I have a genuine concern?

TIA

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
No concern. Look carefully at oil flow diagram and will understand.

The holes are offset to keep oil pressure up and cause oil smear. If they aligned the oil would take the easiest route thru the openings and not build pressure and squeeze thru into the bearing surfaces to lube the journals.
