Wondering if you guys can help a newbie out with this. I checked my '01 HO for any codes today and found (2) - P1693 (PCU) and P1488 (ECU). I found posts on P1693 and that doesn't seem to be an issue, just one module recognizing a fault in the other module, I didn't find anything on P1488 other than a description out of a code description appendix that part of a MADS electronics document - the description reads "P1488 - Auxiliary 5 volt supply output too low", any idea what this is and if it's important? Truck seems to run fine. The only perf. mod on this truck is an older style edge box. Tried running it w/out the edge box, codes remain. Tried my brothers OBDII code reader - and it seems to think there are no issues when you ask the scanner to do diagnositcs. The only time the OBDII code reader recognized the P1488 was in a data snapshot (don't know if I'm describing that very well). Let me know if you have any ideas.
