P0216
I'd lean towards the low pressure fuel system. Ever try starting your truck after changing the fuel filter and not repriming the system first? Fires right up for a second, then dies, and you gotta swear and hold your tonque just right to get it started again. Have you tried bumping the starter to run the LP before starting it? See if that helps.

I agree. The rough starting, probably reduction in mileage, dead pedal. Eventually it will die....Just a matter of where. Hopefully not in the middle of the dessert or cold of Northern Minn.
I have an envelope that I throw $.04 per mile driven for my truck repairs. Hopefully yours is nearly up to $1000 .

Yeah I have had the same code in me truck for the past year. Had the dead pedal issue and got a new APPS. Had the codes cleared at the same time last week. Drove out to my Brothers house in WA last weekend, started the truck tonight on the way to wallyworld and check engine light comes on. Drove to wallyworld and then checked the codes, P0216 shows up. I have good fuel pressure and everything with my FASS. But after reading more about the P0216 i'm think i'm going to change it this weekend. I don't really want to but I don't want to get stuck on my way down to Vegas for the race on the 11th.
Why dont you get the troubleshooting steps for that code. It is not always the IP that goes out. You might have a restriction in either your suction or injection line that will cause the pressure and flow to decrease but you still might get the 12 psi. Let me know how it goes.

Any suggestions?
