Oil sender musta died - suggestions?
My gauge jumps 3/4's the way across and stays pegged there. I figure the sender. Anyone have helpful hints on a non-dealer source and any replacement help/suggestions? Thanks

I found on my 99 the best way to replace it is to have a really really long 1/2 inch extension and go in over the left front wheel at least on the 4x4's.

Beat me to it! I showed this trick to a Cummins service writter. He was so impressed, he had one of his mechanics come out and replaced it for me.
