i have a 2001 24 valve

i have an oil pressure problem something like some of the posts in first gen 12 v? engine

my oil pressure guage sometimes reads about 40 or about 60 with engine not running and sometimes sticks at zero with engine running

i connected a makeshift gage in at the 1/8 inch npt port on the oil filter bracket and so can get by but i would like to fix it "right"

from reading the first gen engine posts i understand that it is probably the sender and it is much cheaper to get one from cummins than dodge

does any one know the dodge and cummins part numbers for the oil pressure sender on the 2001 engine- are they the same as for the 12 v engine
