Well my oil pressure is sensor is doing some goofy stuff.
It reads the same on the dash gauge & Pulse.
It will go to 0 and ding the warning light then go and stop at 102psi and anywhere in between.
I changed the oil and pulled a sample to send out. I don't think it's my pump but rather the sensor. There is no noticeable change in the engine when the pressure is jumping either.
Is there a way to check the sensor. I got to throw a mech gauge on it to double check too.

 

mine did that and you need to get it from cummins about $75 dodge $350. I do no have the number with me but it did not show on the cummins dealer. need the nubers on the side of the motor b4 you call. I can look it up later ED
