oil leak and low mpg

oil leak and low mpg
ok heres the deal, bought this truck about a month ago trying to get it all running right befor i start with the fun stuff for it. im getting poor mpg it city, about 13 to 14, but on the hyway i get about 18. when i got it it had been double filled with oil, so it was leaking out the vent tube well fixed that but the leak hasnt stoped. i just changed the fuel filter. just told there was a leak in the houseing and was recomended to change the the filter but i just did so im guessing i need a new houseing... any help????
