looked under the truck today and noticed that there's oil crud on the front of the engine. i know bout the blow-by bottle issues but was wondering if its something i should have checked out<br><br>thanks

 

Not sure but it sounds like the blow-by tube to me. My 99 didn't have a bottle on it and I just extended the hose down farther so it didn't drip all over the engine block. It will still leave the ocational drop on the garage floor but that's about it. <br><br>DB

 

On the front, you will typically get a little oil and a bit of belt dust that forms a nice rust-preventative (IMHO) crust.
