Which oil?

I put this synthetic stuff in haisly's sell in my 5600. and then John Deere gear lube 140w-90 i think, in my diffs. both i added BG oil stabilizer/additive. the only thing about the synthetic is it is outragiously priced.
Amsoil...maybe.
The tag on my 5600 says "Use Texaco" something or another. Whatever. I put Amsoil in it. It has only been in there 1 week so I can't really inform you on how I like it yet. My shifting problems are this stupid non-adjustable clutch hydraulic piece of crap, not the fluid.

It's the aftermarket oil companie's JOB to figure out what additives are in each special oil and reproduce it their way with the same required additives. With the Dodges, most guys go to Redline or Amsoil in the standards, but where this is really most common is in commercial use and go with aftermarket oil because it's cheaper, basically going with a "generic" brand that is the same stuff.
This topic has been covered many times.
Manufacturer can not require a certain oil (for warrantee) unless they provide it... free of charge.
They must prove the oil you used caused the problem before they can void anything! This won't happen with Redline, Amsoil, etc.
