Saves wear and tear on the auto trannies that Dodge knew couldn't handle the low RPM torque of the Cummins.
There are a couple of aftermarket solutions, but they are meant for drag racing conditions, not everyday driving.

Is it when its shifting? The newer 2nd gen autos have torque management in the lower gears, do they not? Just throwing an idea out.
Did it do it before the juice? I notice both of you have that installed. If it goes away, a phone call to Edge would be the next step.

It does it in this video right before it shifts to second. http://video.thedieselgarage.com/vid...d100f2c59b.htm
Its the torque management feature. Its on the 01-02 autos to help save the trans. I think its the bd rad box that eliminates it. Im shure smarty eliminates it. The juice mite have something in there to get rid of it too. You will just have to look at all the functions and see if its there.
