after a fuel filter change for the truck to rev on its own? after installing the filter i primed everything by bumping starter 3 times then on the first try the truck fired right up but reved to a little over 2k rpm's. i shut off the truck went to the engine to make sure nothing looked out of the ordinary. tried again and the same thing happened...shut it down again. tried one more time and it only reved to like 1500 rpm's so i hit the gas peddle and it finally dropped down to idle speed. never had another problem after that. weird!!
