Hi guys, well after all the bs with that gas station giving me 105 liters of water and being truckless for 33 days( yup lost my job for that too) i had a fass system 150 gph, new bdp stg 2 injectors and a new vp put in. Now my truck sounds like a jet spooling up for take off oh there is a banks hi ram , and 4" banks ex and my juice w attitude on aswell. Is this normal cause b fore all that happened it did not whine/ scream like that. Anyone have a similar set up? I am worried about the turbo going. They did a compression test on it and said i was within 30 psi from highest to lowest. Any thoughts or insight would be greatly appreciated.

 

FWIW turbo is pretty easy to inspect. Pull the pipe to the compressor inlet to visually inspect the wheel. Give it a wiggle to check the bearing, and you can assume the exhaust fan is probably good or it would make less noise.

4" exhaust will make it noisier, More engine noise at higher rpm, more turbo noise at lower rpm. If you put on an intake to replace the stock airbox, that'll make it a lot noisier too.

Maybe you forgot in a month how noisy it was?
