1999 dodge 2500 24v after engine is hot when I turn it off and go back to try to start it it just turns over but no start. Only happens periodically. Just changed lift pump. Still same problem. No codes come up either. Any suggestions. Got 143000 miles on it

 

I've heard that if th electronics in the pump get heat soaked, it can cause problems. Some is now making a aluminum finned piece that is attached the pump. Should help shed the heat. For the life of me, I can't remember who it is that is making them.

It is pretty new.

 

next time you shut it off hot, pour some cold water on the vp44 and if it starts...I'm sorry
